It is the mission of THE PIRATE PRESS
to produce a quality newspaper on a timely basis,
which successfully informs and entertains
the students, faculty and community of Hudson.
THE PIRATE PRESS is an eight page monthly insert to the community's newspaper, THE HUDSON HERALD. Newspapers are available the first Thursday of each month, beginning in October and ending in May.
This high school publication is planned, written, designed and edited by students enrolled in the high school's state and national award-winning journalism program.
Funding for the newspaper is courtesy of a donation by community members George and Pam Wessels and newspaper publisher Cliff Murray, a lifelong resident of Hudson whose passion is to instill an appreciation for newspapers and love of community into today's youth.
